Fore Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates StartupBase, including startupbase.io (the "Service"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of StartupBase.

By using StartupBase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of StartupBase after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Accounts

Creating an account is currently free. You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, and you may not transfer your account without our written permission.

3. Listings and User Content

Registered users may submit products, startups, tools, deals, comments, reviews, and other content to StartupBase. You are responsible for anything you submit.

Your content must be lawful, accurate, and must not:

  • infringe any intellectual property or other rights,
  • contain defamatory, obscene, abusive, or misleading material,
  • include malware, spyware, adware, or other harmful code, or
  • collect or misuse personal data in ways not properly disclosed.

We may review, edit, reject, hide, archive, or remove any listing or content at our discretion, including when it violates these Terms or harms the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You may use StartupBase only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the Service or other users. You may not:

  • attempt to access another user's account or security information,
  • scrape, spider, crawl, or copy substantial portions of the Service,
  • send spam, run automated abuse, or disrupt normal operation of the Service,
  • reverse engineer or try to extract source code or underlying logic, or
  • use StartupBase in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

StartupBase and its design, software, branding, and site content are owned by Fore Studio or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote that content as needed to operate and market StartupBase.

6. Third-Party Links and Products

StartupBase may contain links to third-party websites, products, services, and social profiles. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

7. Payments

Some paid services may be offered on StartupBase. Where applicable, Paddle.com may act as Merchant of Record and handle billing, payment processing, returns, and customer support for those purchases.

8. Disclaimers

StartupBase is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that any listing, review, comment, or result will be accurate or reliable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fore Studio and StartupBase will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fore Studio, StartupBase, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to StartupBase at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it is necessary to protect the Service, other users, or our rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. The courts of Lahore, Punjab shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
