I started Eggy because grocery shopping in NYC has gotten expensive, confusing, and weirdly opaque 🛒. People already know useful grocery things:

🥬 which store has better produce
🥚 where eggs are cheaper
🏷️ which market has random deals
📍 which place is overpriced except for one weirdly good item

But most of that knowledge stays scattered across group chats, family texts, neighborhood threads, and people’s heads. Eggy gives that knowledge a place to live: a community-powered grocery map built from real shopper finds, prices, photos, and store notes.

Nice product! I know firsthand how hard it can be to start and maintain new healthy habits. I've tried to hack together my own tools over the years, but I was never able to get to the point of long-term sustainability. If you can turn the gamification into something that genuinely builds over the long term, then I think this could be huge.

Love it. I recently started auditing some philosophy classes at a local college (for fun/curiosity), and was already thinking that something like this should exist. Glad to see I'm not the only genius. Very excited to try your product.

Great idea. I've burned through many workout apps that end up feeling like a manual tracking spreadsheet with some videos. There's a lot of opportunity now with AI tools to make something that can understand and track your progress with minimal effort and manual entry from the user. Definitely keeping this on my radar.
