@patricia Currently, no. But this is a good idea, and I will implement it soon. In the meantime, if you're working with sensitive data, you can still self host the project and keep control on your data.
Hey, I'm a freelance dev and my day-to-day is building web apps for early-stage startups.
Like any client work, every project hits a testing and feedback phase. I usually go back and forth with clients on WhatsApp, and it's painfully inefficient. They describe problems vaguely, and when I ask for a screenshot I get a photo of their screen taken with their phone.
After a few projects where I lost my mind (and a lot of hours) just trying to decode what clients actually meant, I decided to fix it.
Plenty of tools already solve this like Marker.io or BugHerd but I couldn't find an open source alternative I liked.
So I built my own. It's called Faster Fixes: an open source feedback widget for React apps. You add reviewers from the dashboard, send your client a link, and they can start annotating the app right away. No browser extension to install.
The part I'm most excited about is the MCP server. When a client leaves feedback, the full context is captured automatically — page URL, browser, component tree, DOM selector, screenshot, console logs and networks calls. So you can just ask your coding agent to pull the feedback and fix it, and it has everything it needs to locate and patch the issue without you re-explaining anything.
There's a Linear, GitHub and Slack integration for now, with more to come.
Would love to hear your feedback on this 👍
not really interested in cash prizes or discounts, but I really the idea of giving the money to charity!
It's not a new concept, but the setup is pretty straightforward, which is good I just wish they had a firefox extension, but that's a detail
Interesting, this looks complimentary to other tools I'm using. I think it could be even more useful if you had a MCP to be able to connect the data directly to my agent, and even better if you had a skill to analyze and act on that data
@yieldstack Thanks! 🙏
