Translate manga inside the artwork, with speech bubbles re-lettered in place
Sumi translates manga, manhwa and webtoons inside the original artwork. It detects speech bubbles, erases the original lettering and re-typesets the translation, including vertical Japanese. Readers can edit individual translated bubbles.
The web translator and Chrome and Firefox extensions support 134 target languages. Sumi is also available for iPhone, iPad and Mac, with on-device translation available in the app. The online translator lets readers try the first page without an account.
Sumi translates pages readers already own or have open; it does not host manga. Made by Rainverse.
