The hosted-versus-self-hosted framing is the real product here. Paperless is excellent software, but Docker, a reverse proxy, backups and then owning the upgrade path forever is the wall most people never get over. Removing that is a genuine product, not a wrapper.

The thing I'd want answered above the fold: where does the data live, and who can read it? Documents are about as sensitive as it gets — passports, contracts, medical records. Germany implies GDPR, but stating the encryption model plainly, and whether you as the operator can read the files, would do more for conversion than another feature bullet. We host a service that takes broker credentials and found the security page earned more trust than any feature page.

Worth saying explicitly whether existing Paperless users can bring their tags and correspondents across — they're your warmest audience and migration friction is the only thing standing between them and paying you.
