i got tired of watching good repos get buried... GitHub Trending has an algorithm nobody understands, and the folks who win are usually the ones with the biggest twitter following or the right connections. (nothing against those people, but that's not a ranking system. that's a popularity contest.)

so i built reporanker... open-source projects ranked by actual peer reviews, github-authenticated so the feedback means something, with the algorithm published for anyone to audit. no mystery. no games. you either built something worth reviewing or you didn't.

looking forward to testing this one out over the weekend. will report back

as someone who formerly booked live music... this would be AMAZING if you could get buy in from the talent agencies.
