Founder of DOER. No ads. Zero commission. No vanity metrics.
@quickimgconvert Thanks. The Huddle is the part I use most myself: one goal, what’s in the way, and the next step, every morning. If you give DOER a go, I’d love to know whether it helps you stay on track.
@the_deepammishra Looks like my own comment found its way back to me. If you do have a look around, I'd still love to hear what's wrong with it.
@miraycul What do you think confuses people most when they first land on it? Glad you'll give it a try. For now I'm keeping things lean and doing the explaining myself, but I'd really value your first impressions once you're in, especially anywhere it didn't click.
@brianm Which would you go for first if you joined today: meeting people, learning something, or putting your own work out there? There's no feed algorithm on DOER, so you see everyone you follow in the order they post, and nobody can pay to be seen. You'd be very welcome: itsadoerthing.com
@potdarvinit100 Good to meet you, Vinit. Founders who need someone to turn an idea into a working product are exactly who you'll meet on DOER. Join the DOER Connect & Collaborate group and tell them what you build, that's where members find the people and skills they need: https://itsadoerthing.com/g?id=gmufwoxmpasv4w
@markovwong Thanks Wong, really appreciate it. When you sign up, tell DOER what you're working on in your first session and it will put you with the people who can help. I'd love to hear how you find it, so reach out to me on DOER any time.
@nikitabelferman Thanks, Nikita. Same belief for sure. Payment and trust is the hard part, which is why DOER runs payments through Stripe and takes no cut of what members sell. I'd love to help where I can, reach out to me on DOER: itsadoerthing.com
@acoignac Thanks, Antoine. I'd love to help you get started, reach out to me on DOER once you're in: itsadoerthing.com
@ashishvijay_ Thanks, Ashish. That uncertainty is exactly why I built it. There's no algorithm deciding who sees what on DOER, so nothing shifts under you. I'd love to help you get set up, reach out to me on DOER: itsadoerthing.com
@kveelcosmetics Thanks. The model stays the same as it grows: DOER is free, the paid plans are optional, and we never take a cut of what members sell. That's what keeps it free of ads and algorithms.
@calbertmalone Thanks, Calbert, and that's useful. You're right: Groups help, but finding a small, specific community on DOER is harder than it should be right now. It's on my list.
@connectwithadeshpande Thanks, Anjila. That's the heart of it: one goal, what's in the way, and one move you commit to. If you use it for a week, I'd love to hear where it helps and where it gets in your way.
I built DOER because I never got anything out of the professional networks I was on. It went live in June after three years of building it solo. It is small and it is honest: no ads, no algorithm, and if you sell something on it you keep all of it. If you have a look, tell me what is wrong with it rather than what is right, that is what I need.
@mesim it’s a little different for it’s obvious reasons but I would love to hear your feedback back, good or bad.
Out of interest, what’s sparks your interest to give us a look? Also feel free to reach out to me on DOER, it’s where I’m most active.
