Hey! Just tried out 49-IDE and wanted to say this is a really cool concept — the infinite canvas approach to managing terminals/agents across machines is a genuinely fresh take compared to the usual tmux-and-tabs setup. A few thoughts:
What's working well:
The "before/after" comparison in the README does a great job selling the pain point (14 terminal tabs vs one canvas)
Zero-SSH multi-machine + HUD overlay for CPU/RAM/Claude usage is a killer feature for anyone juggling several boxes
Keyboard-first navigation (WASD, tab chords) shows real attention to power-user workflows
A few questions/suggestions:
Would love to see a short GIF or screenshot of the actual canvas UI directly in the README above the fold, before the quick-start section
Is there a roadmap for Linux/Windows desktop builds, or is that on the way alongside the macOS .dmg?
Since terminal I/O isn't persisted server-side, how does session recovery work if the relay connection drops mid-session?
