@tessarolli The funny thing is while building Obsum I was mostly focused on helping businesses get online faster. But the more people mention automatic syncing, the more it feels like that’s where a lot of the long-term value is.

Right now it’s generated from the business profile data, but keeping reviews, photos and business information updated automatically is definitely something we’re exploring.

@vedadt Haha 100% While building Obsum I came across so many businesses with 100+ great reviews but either no website or a website that looked like it was built 10 years ago.

@fleethqsupport That’s actually something I thought about a lot while building it.

A lot of businesses don’t really care about “having a website”. They care about getting more calls, inquiries and customers.

The website is just the vehicle.

@pollodotlol With website builders you still have to sit down, write content, pick sections, design pages and set everything up.

What we’re trying to do is start with what businesses already have. Reviews, photos, business info, etc. Then generate something useful from that.

Still early and we’re improving it every week, but that’s the vision. We're soon going to implement features that will help businesses get more leads and convert them just using few clicks.

I started Obsum after seeing something surprisingly common:

A lot of businesses already have great Google reviews, photos, and active business profiles… but still no actual website.

And when they try to make one, it usually turns into:

• hiring someone expensive
• struggling with complicated builders
• spending hours writing content and designing pages
• or just giving up completely

We felt like businesses shouldn’t have to start from zero when their online presence already exists.

So I built Obsum.

With Obsum, a business can turn its online presence into a modern website in minutes using their business profile, reviews, and existing information.

I also added inquiry forms so the website isn’t just something that “looks nice” it can actually help businesses get new customers.

Right now we’re starting with Google Business Profiles, but we’re planning to support more platforms over time.
