The idea started with a simple question: "Where was this photo taken?"

Many images have no GPS data or location information, but they often contain hidden geographic clues — from architecture and roads to landscapes and signs. We built WhereWasTaken to help uncover those hidden locations using AI vision and geographic reasoning.

With WhereWasTaken, you can upload a photo or GeoGuessr screenshot and get an AI-powered location analysis with evidence, confidence score, and possible alternatives.
