Founder @ Kwill · Helping freelancers go from “yes” to paid — proposals, contracts & invoices in one portal
@yunpengwaicu Thanks, Yunpeng! That’s exactly why we built it. Clients shouldn’t need yet another login just to sign and pay. You can try the full flow (proposal → e-sign → invoice → payment) free at getkwill.com. We’d love to hear your feedback once you’ve used it with a client!
@almondtreesecurity Thank you, that means a lot! 🙌 If you’re sending quotes or contracts to clients, give Kwill a try. You can send a proposal, get it e-signed, and collect payment all from one link. Start free at getkwill.com and let us know what you think!
Hey StartupBase 👋 I'm Kanav Arora, the maker of Kwill.
We built Kwill after watching freelancers lose hours (and money) after winning a client: proposal in Docs, contract in another tool, files across Drive and WeTransfer, invoices in a spreadsheet, payments chased three times.
Kwill turns that into one branded client portal: proposal → e-sign → files → invoice → paid, in any currency. Your clients never need an account.
🎁 For this community: the free plan needs no card, and code FOUNDING500 gives you 25% off for life (only 500 spots).
I'd love your feedback: which step of your client workflow is the most painful today? I'll be here all day answering every comment 🙌
Congrats on the launch, Vasyl! "Explain later why a VAT result was produced" is the part most tools skip, and it's exactly what accountants ask about months after the invoice went out.
We're building Kwill (invoicing + payments for freelancers across 46+ countries), and the case we keep running into is a freelancer in the EU billing a client in another member state: reverse charge vs. charging VAT, depending on whether the client is VAT-registered. Does the API handle B2B reverse-charge logic and VAT ID validation, or is it focused on B2C/OSS for now? Would love to test it in our invoice flow.
Replacing dozens of apps with one platform is a bold promise, and the daily briefing feature looks really useful. Excited to try it. Congrats to the team! 🚀
Congrats on the launch! 🎉 Editable output is the big one for me. Most AI deck tools give you something pretty but locked, and you end up rebuilding it in Slides anyway. As someone building for freelancers, I can see this being huge for client pitch decks. Does it support custom brand kits (fonts, colors, logo) so agencies can keep every deck on-brand?
Timely find. I’m working through launch directories for Kwill right now, and the hardest part is figuring out each site’s rules: badges, queues, DR requirements. A clear guide on how to submit to each one would have saved me a few hours this week. Does it track which directories give dofollow links?
@prabhudattachoudhury Thanks, Prabhudatta! Take it for a spin and see for yourself. Kwill puts your proposals, e-signatures, invoices and payments in one client portal, and your clients don’t need an account. Try it free at getkwill.com. Happy to help if you have questions!
