Hey all, I'm Keiran, the founder behind LLMnesia.

I built this because I kept losing my own best work in AI chats. I'd know I'd already solved something in ChatGPT or Claude, but couldn't remember where. LLMnesia is a free, local-first Chrome extension that indexes and searches your history across 12 AI platforms, all on-device, nothing uploaded.

The two biggest additions so far:

• Memory: pull the context an assistant already has on you and drop it into any new chat with one tap. Move from a maxed-out ChatGPT thread to Claude or DeepSeek and they already know what you're working on.
• Search by meaning: finds conversations by what they're about, not just exact wording, built quietly in the background with no setup.

Just added in the newest release: Character.AI support, search over your local Claude Code sessions (terminal, VS Code, desktop app), and a much more reliable large-history import.
