Hoverstate started with a very personal problem.

As a product designer, I’m constantly finding things I want to save: beautiful websites, landing pages, design resources, tools, fonts, AI agent skills, design jobs, and basically anything that inspires me.

So I bookmarked everything.

Then I made folders. And more folders. And eventually, managing my bookmarks became a project of its own. 😂

The other problem was that most of those bookmarks lived in my browser on my Mac, so finding something I saved when I was on my phone or another device wasn't always great.

So I thought, why don't I just build the bookmark library I actually want?

You can save and like things, organize your own collection, create a profile, and share your profile with anyone you want. Friends, clients, teammates, or even your audience on social media.

There are already plenty of great website galleries out there. I wasn't trying to build another one.

I wanted a place where I could build my own library of the things I discover.

And if you don't want to create a profile, that's completely fine too.

the verification every 2 months is interesting. stale contact data is probably one of the biggest headaches with these tools, especially when people change jobs.

curious how the coverage compares with hunter / apollo in practice though. that's usually the part that makes or breaks these tools for me.
