I spent years in executive search watching recruiters do the same mechanical work on every mandate - writing boolean queries, scanning profiles one by one, copy-pasting contact info, building shortlists by hand. A skilled recruiter was spending 60-70% of their time on work that shouldn't require a human.

We built Topliner to replace that layer with autonomous AI agents. A recruiter describes a role in plain English. The agent designs the search, finds every qualifying candidate online, scores each one against the brief with written reasoning, enriches contact details, and hands back a ranked shortlist - in about an hour instead of a week.

The thing we're most proud of: coverage. We don't limit to one database. If a candidate has a digital footprint, the agent finds them. No single-source blind spots, no dependency on knowing the right keywords.

the video-to-deck part is the interesting one. does it actually pick up the narrative (intro, argument, conclusion) or is it more keyframe + caption based? feels like that's where most tools in this space fall apart

nice that rag + extraction + transcription sit behind one sdk, the glue between three vendors is usually where everything breaks. what's the chunking like on the retrieval side, fixed size or something semantic

"commits not calendars" hits right, that's literally the metric that matters for solo work. how does the co-pilot handle context on slower projects where you come back to something after a week or two - does it actually remember what you were doing or do you have to re-prime it
