The mission-to-dismiss idea is the right lever. Snoozing is a reflex, so the only thing that reliably beats it is putting a task in front of it.
One thing that may save you time, from having fought the same battle on iOS: if you are still ringing through notifications, there is no insistent or loop flag on iOS, so a burst of scheduled alerts plus a long sound file is the hard ceiling, and Focus mode swallows it entirely unless the payload is marked time-sensitive. AlarmKit on iOS 26+ is the real fix. You get a countdown Live Activity leading into a full-screen ring-until-Stop that pierces both silent and Focus. Worth the migration if you have not done it yet.
Good luck with the launch.
