Hey StartupBase 👋 I'm Erik, the maker of GeoMaps.

I built this because every team I've worked with had location-rich data — customers, leads, stores, field assets — trapped in a CRM or spreadsheet where they couldn't actually see it. The existing tools either needed real GIS skills or made you re-export a CSV every single time the data changed.

GeoMaps fixes that. Connect Google Sheets, Excel, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho and 20+ more (or upload a file), and every record is geocoded and kept in sync automatically. From there you can:

  • 🤖 Generate a finished map with AI from a plain-language prompt
  • 🚗 Plan optimized multi-stop routes for field teams
  • 🗺️ Draw territories, drive-time areas and radius rings
  • 🔥 Visualize with heatmaps, clusters, hexbins and demographic layers
  • 📊 Build live dashboard widgets
  • 🔗 Publish public or password-protected, embeddable maps

It's free for up to 1,000 locations, no credit card needed.

I'd genuinely love your feedback — especially: what would you map first, and anywhere the flow felt confusing? I'll be around to answer 🙏

"Just open and draw" is the whole pitch and I'm here for it — half the time I avoid whiteboard tools purely because of the login/onboarding friction. Love that it's free and clutter-free. One question: since there's no login, how does collaboration / sharing a board work — is it a link, and does the board persist after I close the tab? Bookmarking this one.

Getting real consumer feedback in hours instead of weeks is a genuinely painful gap for small teams, so this resonates. Curious how you handle respondent quality at that scale — can you target by demographic/segment, or is it a broad panel? Testing multiple concepts side by side is a smart default. Congrats on the launch!

As someone who perpetually has 40+ tabs open, the "save as a reusable session + auto-label with AI" combo is the part that stands out — manual naming is exactly why I never stuck with older tab managers. Does reopening a session restore scroll position / form state, or just the URLs? Either way, nice clean take on a problem I feel daily. 👏
