Building Nett, an iOS app for freelancers who want to know what's actually theirs after taxes.
@xuejuship thank you!
I use it for myself. That's why I build it. I hope it helps more people.
Hey StartupBase 👋
I'm Eric, freelancer in Spain. I built Nett because I never trusted my bank balance. Taxes, VAT and social contributions aren't in that number.
So you either underspend in paranoia, or overspend and panic in April.
Nett does the math. Add invoices and expenses (type, scan a PDF, or photograph a receipt) and you get one number that tells you what's actually yours.
Built for freelancers across 🇪🇸 🇵🇹 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇩🇪 🇬🇧. Launches June 16 on iOS. Pre-order live now.
Free forever for manual entry. Premium for AI extraction.
Honest feedback wanted, especially if you've struggled with the same problem. What's the tax thing that bites you the hardest?
How do you handle revenue verification on the seller side? Escrow protects the transfer but the harder problem is trusting MRR/traffic claims before you even make an offer. Any plans for verified Stripe/Plausible/App Store Connect integration?
What's the actual difference between your app and just buying a Theragun? Asking genuinely, not as a gotcha.
Curious how you handle multi-jurisdiction stuff. I'm building a freelancer finance app and invoices arrive from across the EU with different metadata per country. Did you build per-country templates or kept the flow generic?
@venkypd252 thanks mate.
Yes it's exclusive for freelancers. Hope you like it. Any kind of feedback is welcomed.
Regards!
