@flynny Thank you, Emma! The creatives are something I'm really proud of β€” you know that feeling when you create something you love and hope it lands? Building a registry isn't a solo project, so I wanted to create a space that genuinely supports joint decisions.

@founder_sohan Thank you, Sohan! Equal ownership for both parents was the north star from day one, because that's exactly what I couldn't find anywhere else. Really appreciate the support! πŸͺΊ

@sslinnn Thank you, Ivan β€” persistence was pretty much all I had for a while, honestly. Really appreciate you saying that. πŸͺΊ

@amitzandberg Thank you so much, Amit β€” this means a lot. So much of the "yes, this is needed" comes from people saying exactly what you just did. πŸͺΊ

@mehmetkisacik Thank you so much, Mehmet β€” really appreciate you noticing that detail. The approve/veto flow was one of the pieces I fought hardest to get right, because it's exactly where "collaboration" apps usually collapse into one-person-does-the-work in practice. And thank you for acknowledging the App Store journey β€” 22 rejections was a lot, but we got there. πŸͺΊ

@enodaniel Thank you, Steven! Congratulations on your daughter β€” she's lucky to have someone who's already thinking about how to prep. Would love to hear how OneNest works for you, and please feel free to share any feedback along the way! πŸͺΊ

Hey StartupBase! πŸ‘‹ I'm Chelsea, a solo mom of three (including 11-month-old twins) and the founder of OneNest. I built OneNest because I couldn't find a single baby registry app that actually treated both parents as equals. Every existing app assumes one person β€” usually mom β€” does all the work while the other partner gets a link to "approve" decisions after the fact. So I built the one I wished existed: both parents get their own login to the same shared registry, with equal ability to add, approve, veto, and decide together. I had zero coding background going into this. I learned to build it using AI development tools, working around naps and bedtimes. It took four months from idea to launch β€” including 22 App Store rejections along the way. Four weeks post-launch, with zero paid marketing: 200+ families, a 5-star rating, and we just got featured on KrispiTech. Would love any feedback, especially from other parents or solo founders who've been in the trenches. Happy to answer anything about the build process, the product, or the journey. πŸͺΊ

What a wonderful idea. Even better that one user is going to produce another one since it is an app to use with partners. Splitting bills has never been easier!

This carries a lot of the same tools I used to develop my app with zero coding experience. The difference is, I had to research and learn it all on my own. This is perfect. It is basically a road map to building and launching an app. Well done.

I can see this being useful to users who would like to hone in on a certain niche. Posts would be direct, informative, and useful to those who are viewing it.
