Export whole Reddit threads to CSV, JSON or Markdown
Comment Scraper is a Chrome extension that exports the Reddit or Hacker News thread you have open into a file you can work with: a spreadsheet, JSON, or Markdown with numbered comments for Claude and ChatGPT.
It opens collapsed replies, "load more comments" and "continue this thread" for you, one request every 1.5 seconds, using your own Reddit login. When it's done it shows three numbers: comments fetched, comments it knows it couldn't get, and what Reddit says the thread has.
Exports leave out usernames and stay in your browser. There's an optional AI brief that sorts a thread into themes, objections, requests and products mentioned, and every point links to the comments behind it.
Free covers threads up to 1,000 comments, 30 threads a day and 3 AI briefs a month. Personal is $12 a month for threads up to 5,000 comments, exporting several open tabs at once and more AI briefs.
